Crafts & Shopping: The Woollybear Festival in Vermilion is Ohio’s largest one-day festival! Not only is there food and live entertainment, but crafts galore! The JVS Annual Craft Show on October 25th is known to be the largest in Lorain County with over 200 vendors! Jamie’s Flea Market hosts Halloween at Jamie’s on October 25th, and there’s something for everyone! Wellington offers a Country Autumn Tour on the weekends! You’re your own guide, which means as many stops to the unique village shops as your heart can stand! Live Entertainment: The Oberlin Inn offers a twist on live entertainment- you’re in the middle of it all with their murder mystery dinner packages! Take your pick from Masquerade and Fall themed Murder Mysteries, or try them both! The Workshop Players Theatre is always coming out with a new show, and this season, it’s The Woman in Black . Take a quick jaunt to their Amherst theatre for this spine-chilling show! Music: Finney Chapel in Oberlin is hosting the Calder Quartet on September 3oth at 8 pm! FAVA is opening up a brand new exhibit in October: Clothing as a Metaphor by Clare Murray Adams. Check it out October 12th-November 9th! Not to worry! The Patchwork Trails of Lorain County follows the Back Roads and Beaches Route and is all about art! Patchwork Trails is made up of 19 giant wooden squares that are painted with a unique quilt pattern and mounted on the sides of local barns and businesses. The colorful, patterned squares were painted by 4-H clubs and other organizations, each having a special story and origin.
