Common Ground is a non-profit organization located on 21 beautiful acres providing a variety of services to expand human potential in youth, adults, and businesses.

Common Ground is the host site for a certified high and low ropes course. The Ropes Course, Inc. is owned by Dale Jones, a highly regarded ropes course facilitator with nearly 30 years of experience in the field. Dale’s interest in ropes courses began back in the early 80s and was solidified during a visit to an Outward Bound site in North Carolina. What he observed there, he brought back to Lorain County and put into use for the betterment of local youth and organizations. He is certified in ropes course facilitation by Growing Edge, an extension of Outward Bound. Joe Molnar, a staff facilitator for The Ropes Course, Inc., has worked with Dale since 1985. Dale has designed six challenging ropes courses for sites throughout Northeast Ohio.
