Built in 1830, the Peter Miller House Museum is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Peter Miller came to Avon Lake in 1819 with his father Adam Miller, the first permanent settler in what is now known as the City of Avon Lake. Tours of the house, featuring early Greek Revival architecture, are available throughout the summer and by appointment April-November. The museum also has frequent educational programs and a small meeting room for up to 20 people.
