Main Street Amherst along with the Amherst Fire Department are looking for local artists, art teachers, groups, businesses, etc. that would like to donate their artwork on the canvas of a chair.  The chairs will be auctioned off live at The Taste of Amherst Wine & Brew Review on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Social Hall.  100% of the proceeds from this auction will remain in your community, such as summer hanging baskets around the downtown area or, perhaps, contributing to our annual Miracle on Main Street Christmas parade.  Please call the Main Street Office for more information at (440) 984-6709.
