The sculpture sits outside Talcott Hall on the Oberlin College campus. The garden celebrates African-American herbal healing arts. The garden is composed of plants used by participants in the Underground Railroad for healing purposes during their trek to freedom. Oberlin students, staff and citizens originally planted the garden.
