Oberlin Golf Club

Description

The Oberlin Golf Club, founded in 1899, is one of the oldest golf courses in Ohio, beginning its 117th golf season. The golf course is a beautiful, tree lined 18 hole design through which the Plum Creek branch winds on the par 72 (35-37) layout. The development of OGC is due, in part, to the club’s century-long relationship with Oberlin College.

Guests staying at The Hotel at Oberlin, have playing privileges and access to the Oberlin Golf Club during their stay.

Oberlin Golf Club offers an excellent driving range, short game area, bunkers and putting green for members to practice and improve their golf skills. The course at OGC is challenging for the accomplished player yet very playable for golfers of all abilities.

Our PGA professional, Cliff Purtilo, has been at OGC since 1995. Cliff and his staff provides our members with a full service pro shop, merchandise, private lessons, instructional clinics, club fitting, along with a variety of tournaments and special events throughout the golfing season. Under Cliff’s leadership, Oberlin Golf Club annually hosts charitable golf events, local, regional, NOGA {Northeast Ohio Golf Association}& GCGA{Greater Cleveland Golf Association} golf tournaments.
Because the scenic Oberlin Golf Club is one of NE Ohio finest layouts, OGC is a very attractive bargain to a large cross-section of golfers and residents in Lorain County and the Greater Cleveland. Currently memberships are available for 2017.
