Description

The Lorain County Transportation and Community Center is a renovated train station that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The facility has a fully functioning warming kitchen with full catering services provided exclusively by LCCC Dining Services.

The 20th Century
Meeting Room #104

The 20th Century room has state of the art technology available including video conferencing, teleconferencing, videotaping, automated response voting system, and audio system.  This room can accommodate banquet seating for up to 153 people and theater seating for 248.  This room features a two story room that is 80 x 70 feet with wainscoting, decorative sconces and an ornamental plastered ceiling.  This space can be used for formal dining, business meetings, luncheons, displays, receptions and social gatherings.  A large 10.6’ x 14’ video screen with projector and two 65” plasma display monitors are available for large conferences and seminars.

The Limited
Rotunda Space
Room # 103

1,143 square feet
The Limited offers an intimate space for gatherings up to 63 people. This elegant room features the spectacular two story rotunda with decorative wall sconces, chandelier and a separate beverage serving and coat check area.  This room is excellent for smaller gatherings and has two plasma display monitors.

The 20th Century and Limited Room
Room #103/104

Combine the 20th Century and Limited Rooms to provide seating for gatherings of up to 250 people.  These two spaces provide a breath taking display of architecture from the 1920s and guests will enjoy the added nostalgia of dancing and dining in the 85 year old restored historic structure.

The Lakeshore Limited
Mezzanine Room 128

The Lakeshore Limited Room can accommodate up to 24 people and the room can be configured to best suit your needs.  Flexible furniture system allows for a variety of room set-ups.  This room features a wall of windows on the south side that opens the space to the outdoors.

The Capitol Limited
2nd Floor Room # 206

628 Square Feet
The Capitol Limited accommodates up to 24 people and can be configured to best suit your needs.  The flexible furniture system allows for a variety of room set-ups and a convenient lobby used as a coffee station.  This room is located on the second floor of this historic building and features windows on both the north and south walls.  The north facing windows overlook the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks.

The Empire
2nd Floor Room #204

608 Square feet
The Empire Room is furnished with lounge seating and high top tables to encourage casual discussion.  It is a unique space that features windows on the south and café atmosphere for breakout sessions or focus groups.
