Description

Our mission as a community organization is to encourage the preservation and celebration of artifacts, historic sites and structures in Avon Lake. We endeavor to serve and engage the citizenship through accessible education programs involving the life, history, and heritage of Avon Lake

Formed from the Avon Lake Historical Society, the Lake Shore Women’s Club and the Avon Lake Landmark Preservation Society, Heritage Avon Lake is presently based at the historic Folger Home. We are working hard to continue renovating, updating and making this building available for public and private events. We present programs there and at other locations, such as the Avon Lake Public Library.

The Folger Home is open 6-9 pm Tuesday nights — come enjoy a program, a meeting, a chat with our members, a cup of coffee and our Little Free Library.
