2018 Shaken & Stirred

The holiday season is about to get a whole lot merrier.

From Nov. 15 to Jan. 1, you can jingle all the way on the Shaken & Stirred Cocktail Trail, which takes you into Lorain County’s best bars and restaurants to sip signature drinks created just for the Trail.

Sponsored by Visit Lorain County and the Lorain County Commissioners, the Trail can be travelled however you like. You can try a new place once a week—or get a group of friends and a designated driver and hit three or four places on a Saturday night.

Then, when you’ve found your favorite, cast your vote for the Lorain County Cocktail of the Year. More info and the fine print below.

How it Works

You can pick up a custom passport at any of the participating locations.

  • Patrons order the specialty cocktail from a participating bar/restaurant during Shaken and Stirred November 15- January 1. Patrons receive passport upon demand (whether they ordered the cocktail or not)
  • Patrons who ordered the specialty cocktail get their passport stamped by the participating bar/restaurant(s) after ordering their cocktail. 1 drink=1 stamp. (Even if people share a drink, they purchase one drink, they get one stamp)
  • Patrons are encouraged to try as many specialty cocktails at as many participating places from November 15-January 1.
  • Patrons must submit their official ballot to Visit Lorain County by January 16, 2019. Ballots can be submitted:
    • in person at 8025 Leavitt Road, Amherst, 44001 during regular business hours
    • By mail to: Shaken and Stirred, 8025 Leavitt Road, Amherst, OH 44001
    • By snapping a picture and emailing it to: visitors@visitloraincounty.com
  • Only one entry per person.
  • All information must be complete or else vote will not count.

Please drink responsibly. Do not drink and drive.
