A Ghost Watch at the Moore House in Lorain and tour of Charleston Cemetery will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009.  Only 10 adults will be admitted to each two-hour session (cost is $25.00/adult).  Choose your time 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. OR 9:30 - 11:30 p.m.

This is NOT a typical Halloween Haunted House, but a chance to hunt REAL ghosts with a team of expert ghost hunters, who are members of the Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits (O.R.B.S.) who recently did an extensive study of paranormal activity at the Moore House Museum on June 20, 2009! Watch the O.R.B.S. video on YouTube. We will also be offering an old fashioned hay ride from the Moore House Museum to the Charleston Cemetery for a guided, candle lit tour every 45 minutes for just $5.00, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

While you are waiting for your Ghost Watch to begin, or to take the Cemetery Tour, or just to have a little scary fun, we will have food available, a fortune teller ($10 for ten minutes) and a bonfire, complete with a storyteller and s'mores!  Children (accompanied by their parents) will be welcome at these outside activities but the Ghost Watch and Cemetery Tour are not intended for young children, and child care services are not available.

All outside fun begins at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the backyard of the Black River Historical Society and Moore House Museum, 309 West 5th Street, Lorain, OH  44052.

Limited tickets for the Ghost Watch are now available at the Moore House.  Call 440-245-2563 for more information.
