Lorain County's oldest public library, established in 1870. Today, the library boasts of five locations.

We have Bible Studies, Classes and Activities for the entire family. We offer Nursery Services (Sunday’s and Wednesday’s), Children’s Sunday School, Teen Youth Group, College and Career Ministries and a number of Adult and Senior Adult Bible Study groups.
The town's first public school, Little Red Schoolhouse was built in 1836 and also served as both a home and a tailor shop. The schoolhouse is now a museum that offers educational artifacts from the 19th century.
