4th of July Celebrations- 2015

There are countless ways to celebrate the 4th of July. People all over the country will be swimming, watching parades and fire works, camping, and eating great food.  We hope that you’ll celebrate with us in North Central Ohio as we wish America a Happy Birthday! There’s a ton of celebrations happening here that weekend. Check out our list!

Lorain Port Authority Fireworks 
The Lorain Port Authority will be hosting a fireworks display over Lake Erie at dusk (approx. 10pm). Fireworks will be launched from the mile-long pier at Spitzer Marina. Families can gather at Black River Landing for Rockin’ on the River and fireworks, or many other lakefront locations such as the Spitzer Marina, Riverside Park or Lakeview Park to view the fireworks. As Rockin’ on the River will be hosting the entertainment for the evening, there will be the normal admission fee ($5.00, children 12 and under are free) to Black River Landing for the entertainment, with the bonus of a great seat for the fireworks display.
