As fall colors near peak this weekend, it’s the perfect time of year for families, couples, groups of friends, or ANYONE to explore the multi-colored beauty in Lorain County. Some of you may visit to take a hike in one of our many Metroparks or State Park, or you may choose to take a kayak or canoe trail instead. You may pack your gear and bike the Back Roads and Beaches, or you may even do the classic, self-guided driving tour passing through the entire area from Wellington and Oberlin to Columbia Station, to Avon Lake, Vermilion and beyond! However you choose to witness the beauty of the season, one thing is for sure…there will be no better way to wrap up your tour then to come inside and cozy up by a fire.
