Lakeview Beach in Lorain, Ohio is one of the best beaches in Lorain County, and I will venture to say, one of the best on Lake Erie!
Thanks to the Lorain County Metro Parks, all of the necessary amenities are present: lifeguards, changing rooms, and a snack bar. But what makes it extraordinary are all of the other amenities like a new bathhouse
and restaurant with outdoor seating, an historic rose garden in full bloom,
a beautiful view of the Lorain Lighthouse, a lighted fountain, a picnic gazebo, a designated lawn bowling area, a playground, and most importantly...a clean beach with friendly people. What a wonderful way to spend a summer day! Events at Lakeview Park: 2009 Lakeview Beach Volleyball Open, June 27-28 Sunset Concert Series, Friday evenings in July from 7:30-9pm
